Getting motivated in the morning is not always easy. Many of us have to get ourselves out of bed, kids out the door and then battle a work commute before even getting our desks. Over the years I have tried many different tactics to make the morning routine a little more comfortable. No matter how hard I worked, the first hour of the day was always a struggle. After a while, I jumped on the Green Juice wagon and got hooked on it. It wasn’t until last spring that I decided I needed to create juice specifically for mornings. My morning juice needed to work double time! It had to help my body in some way, wake me up and energize my brain to be able to take on the day. This is how my Green Apple Detox Juice was created. This juice has elements of a subtle detox, which means it won’t reek havoc on your belly, and it has become my go-to morning companion. I try to make a small batch the night before, then each morning I down about 6 ounces alongside a glass of water. It is imperative to rehydrate your system right when you wake up since your body has essentially been fasting for 8 hours; be sure to feed your body first thing every morning!
